About The Pottery House Cafe
Contemporary
Southern Flavors
The Pottery House Cafe’s menu items are made from scratch with quality local ingredients, in the spirit of Appalachia. Our famous breads are baked on-site daily, with grains straight from the mill. Have a slice of sourdough or onion-rye with the Baker’s Garden Salad.
Yes, a Potter Really
Lived Here
In 1946, Douglas Ferguson and his wife, Ruth, founded Pigeon Forge Pottery in an old tobacco barn, where craftsmen turned balls of the area’s clay soil into works of art. The couple built the home that’s now the Pottery House Cafe in 1954 and continued selling pottery until 1999.
