Southern White Gravy
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons pan drippings or butter
- 2 tablespoons The Old Mill Seasoned Flour
- I cup milk or cream
Instructions
- Warm the bacon or sausage drippings in a skillet, or melt the butter, and whisk in the seasoned flour until thickened.
- Add the milk and whisk over low heat until the gravy is smooth and it thickens about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Serve over biscuits or alongside fried chicken. If desired, fold crumbled, cooked sausage into the gravy before serving.
