We like our Shrimp Po Boys spicy and our Hot and Crunchy Dill Pickles gives it the perfect fiery crunch. If you're looking for something less hot, we have other pickle options in our online shop that don’t bring as many heat waves on board...but if you love fire from down below (and up top!), serve them with some additional hot sauce too!

  1. Pour vegetable oil to a depth of 2 inches in a large deep pot. Heat to 350F on medium heat.
  2. Toss shrimp with 3 teaspoons seasoning. Dip shrimp in buttermilk, then in the seafood breading. Carefully fry shrimp, in batches, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels and repeat with remaining shrimp. Season shrimp with 2 teaspoons seasoning and a pinch of salt.
  3. Spread mayonnaise evenly on bread. Top evenly with shrimp, tomato, lettuce, and pickles.
