The Old Mill is proud to provide internships that cover a variety of fields and experiences, along with flexible scheduling and on-the-job training.

A unique program unlike anything else offered in the region, internships at The Old Mill are designed to allow students the opportunity to collaborate across various departments and disciplines while providing them with a meaningful, professional experience. With a 160-year legacy of teaching and serving the community, we're excited to share the knowledge and expertise that can only come from a business as old and diversified as ours.

As part of The Old Mill Family, interns are an essential component of day-to-day life on our campus. As much as we enjoy teaching students about our business, we also enjoy learning from them. We're a family-owned, family-operated business, so inclusivity and acceptance of coworkers as family has always been a priority.

Additionally, internships at The Old Mill are designed to provide students with invaluable work experience as they fulfill their undergraduate or graduate degree requirements. Whether students participate in a summer internship or one offered during the academic year, there are more than enough opportunities for them to work on tasks that build critical career skills such as networking, problem-solving, and communicating effectively. To be eligible for an internship, you must be enrolled in a college, university, or graduate program.

Our internship programs offer flexible start dates to best fit the needs of the student’s school requirements, as well as flexible scheduling during students' tenure at The Old Mill. Internships are subject to change from year to year.

Local High School Students

The Old Mill partners with local high schools in Sevier County and the surrounding area to provide high school students with internship opportunities.
