Cornbread Croutons

How to make oh-so-easy cornbread croutons

Instead of topping your favorite green salad with the same-old croutons, get adventuresome and bake your own cornbread croutons. We think you’ll never look back.

These croutons give a decidedly southern twist to any salad, and you’ll see that the secret to making them is not adding an egg to the cornbread, which creates dense and moist cornbread and crunchy croutons!

Flavorful Tip

If you like, add a tablespoon chopped fresh herbs, and a little salt and pepper to the croutons before baking.
