Both The Old Mill Restaurant and Pottery House Cafe will be open Thanksgiving Day. We’ll be serving a holiday menu that includes roast turkey, prime rib, baked sugar-cured ham, Old Mill Corn Chowder, cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, freshly baked rolls, and pumpkin pie. You can eat with us in the restaurants, or get a Feast-To-Go to enjoy in your cabin or condo. Call ahead 865-453-6002 to order a meal to go. You can get a headstart on Christmas shopping because all of The Old Mill shops and The Old Mill General Store will be open on Thanksgiving.
Breakfast or Brunch With Santa
Make reservations now to bring the kids to eat with Santa Dec. 7 at the Pottery House Cafe. We’ll serve breakfast at 8:15 a.m. and brunch from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Your little ones can get their photo made with Santa, and make Christmas goodies at our Kids’ Craft Tent from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call 865-406-6558 to reserve a spot.
Christmas at The Old Mill Square
We’ve turned The Shed into a Gingerbread House where guests can sip mulled cider and hot cocoa, and snack on spiced nuts and caramel corn as they shop. We’ve even got Christmas carolers fa-la-la-ing to boost holiday cheer. Find handmade gifts to please everyone on your holiday list at our stores.
Get inspiration for sprucing up your table, Smoky Mountains-style, when company comes for the holidays by stopping in at Pigeon River Pottery and The Old Mill Farmhouse Kitchen. Here you’ll find everything from small-batch preserves to fresh-baked desserts to help you whip up fast Christmas appetizers so holiday parties are a snap. Get apparel, jewelry, and other gifts at Sassafras, or a bottle of whiskey for someone’s stocking at Old Forge Distillery.
Christmas Gift Catalog
Our Annual Christmas Gift Catalog will be in-home and in-store, with specials running the entire season and in-store displays will have the newest offerings from the catalog to pick-up and take home or send to family or friends. Special seasonal gift wrapping will be available periodically throughout the Square.
Whiskey Wonderland + Special Shopping Nights
Throughout December, the Old Forge Distillery’s cocktail bar transforms into a Whiskey Wonderland featuring festive seasonal cocktails. Come to the Ladies Sip and Shop from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 10 and shop sales at all of The Old Mill’s shops. Guys, there’s a Men’s Shopping Night from 5-7 pm December 12.. You sip whiskey while a personal shopper buys gifts for everyone on your list. Gift wrapping provide for both events.
Pigeon Forge, Sevierville,and Gatlinburg are decked out in millions of lights for Winterfest beginning the third week of November and continuing through February. There are twinkling light displays on area bridges and roadsides. Take a Winterfest Driving Tour, and go to a Christmas-tree lighting celebration, held in all three cities. Area dinner theaters will present Christmas shows. Towns and cities through Sevier County hold Christmas parades including Gatlinburg on Dec. 6, Sevierville Dec. 7, and Townsend Dec. 8
