We will replace or refund the cost of anything you’ve ordered if it’s received damaged, defective, or even if it doesn’t perform or turn out the way you expected.

If you are not happy for any reason with a food item, we don’t require – or even want, you to return it. Simply let us know by phone or by email and we will give you your money back. 

If it is a retail or handcrafted item please pack it safely and return it back to us for a full refund.

You can use our Gift Cards in our shops, our restaurants and by mail order. If you are shopping online and would like to pay with your Old Mill Gift Card please call us to place your order. We will just need your card information.

Personal Check
If you are paying by check please have your order ready and call toll free at 877.653.6455. Then mail your check into us.

Orders paid by Personal Check will not ship until funds clear the bank.

Our shipping and processing fees are based on the weight of the package and zip code to which the item will be delivered.  The shipping and processing fees cover processing your order, handling and packing the products you purchased, and delivering them to you. Most in-stock orders are shipped ground and should be received within 3-5 business days unless specified otherwise.  

If there is a delay, we will notify you by mail or email. Items that are bulky, heavy, or have limited availability may have a delivery surcharge in addition to standard delivery and processing charges. Please note that all items on one order may arrive in separate packages on different days. The Old Mill guarantees delivery only to the addresses we are provided. Gift cards are mailed via the U.S. Postal Service.

Fresh baked items and those marked Perishable, due to the perishable nature of our breads, cakes, pies, and other items, are shipped nationwide within two (2) days via UPS 2nd Day delivery. You don’t have to choose this option, you will see all shipping options available to you when you order online.

Any order containing a perishable item that is shipping to any of the following states will automatically be shipped via UPS Two Day Air (WA, OR, CA, NV, ID, UT, MT, WY, CO, AZ, NM, TX, NE, SD, ND, MN, NY, CT, RI, VT, MA, NH, ME, AL, HI). All other states will have the option to choose between UPS Ground and UPS Two Day Air for their perishable items.

All perishable orders are shipped Monday -Wednesday to arrive within two days. Orders containing perishable items placed after 9 a.m. on Wednesday will be shipped out the following Monday.  We cannot guarantee on-time shipments from Dec 19th – Dec 24th.

UPS SurePost Delivery options are available Monday-Saturday for most orders. Items shipped via SurePost will be delivered within 6-10 business days. The UPS SurePost services provide the convenience of UPS shipping and USPS-delivery to customers’ mailboxes. UPS WorldShip determines if UPS or the USPS completes the final mile of delivery for each shipment.

Expedited delivery options through UPS Two Day Air are available Monday-Friday for most orders. Items delivered via UPS Two Day Air will be delivered within 2 business days, once they leave our shipping warehouse. Saturday and Sunday are not considered delivery days. In stock items only will be available for expedited delivery.

Refunds cannot be given for shipments once it leaves our facility for the following reasons:

  • An incorrect or incomplete shipping address. (Please call toll free at 877-653-6455 immediately to fix an incomplete or incorrect address.  We can always fix shipping labels before they leave our facility. After the package has left our warehouse additional costs will incur.)
  • Delays caused during Major Holidays.
  • Weather related delivery issues.
  • Perishable items, which have become unusable due to failure to follow instructions marked on the packaging.
  • We cannot be held responsible for packages left at an address when someone is out-of-town. Please make sure the recipient will be home before submitting an order.
  • We cannot be responsible for packages that arrive late, cannot be delivered due to signature requirements, or do not arrive at all to Schools, Colleges, or Universities due to addresses that are not deliverable by UPS. We recommend calling the school ahead of time to obtain a correct shipping address of the student prior to placing your order.
